The architectural heritage of the Old City was discussed within the framework of an international seminar.

Within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum, the UN-Habitat Programme, and the Azerbaijan Urban Campaign (#AUC), a scientific-practical seminar titled “Medieval Urban Architecture and Icherisheher” was held at the Baku Photography House.

The seminar focused on the scholarly study, preservation, and contemporary presentation of medieval Azerbaijani urban planning traditions, particularly the architectural heritage of the Shirvanshah period.

At the end of the event, participants were presented with the exhibition “Architectural Monuments of Azerbaijan,” featuring 20 miniatures and animations reflecting construction works from the graphics and photography collections of the Icherisheher Museum Center.
