Today in the Old City, an educational excursion dedicated to restoration and conservation was organized for students of ADA University who are studying architecture and those interested in the field.

During the excursion, participants closely familiarized themselves with restoration works carried out at historical monuments such as the Maiden Tower, Baylar Mosque, Siniqqala Mosque, the Old City Fortress Walls, Bukhara Caravanserai, the Underground Bath, the Shirvanshahs’ Palace Complex, and other heritage sites.

Based on information presented by a restoration specialist, the students were given detailed insights into the restoration techniques applied according to the characteristics of each monument, the methods used, and the key aspects of preserving historical heritage.
